Lotoya has over 19 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management which spanned several multinational companies such as Gruppo Campari, Diageo, and Heineken Ja/Red Stripe.  She is a result and client-centric individual with a fervour for process reengineering, continuous improvement, and business transformation. In addition to her corporate experience, Lotoya is also a mentor and educator.  She has taught Logistics and Supply Chain Management related courses at the Caribbean Maritime Institute, and Excelsior Community College amongst others, at the diploma, bachelor’s degree, and master’s degree levels.

Lotoya holds diplomas in Public Relations, a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, a Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate and she is currently pursuing her doctorate in Global Supply Chain Management.

She has successfully spearheaded projects such as:

  • Development of 10 years Logistics Master Plan to include people, equipment, and warehouse capacity planning.
  • Design, relocate, consolidate, and start-up distribution center operations during
    mergers/acquisitions.
  • Supply chain design and planning.
  • Warehouse design and implementation.
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and warehouse management system (WMS)
    implementation.
  • Business process development and optimization and continuous improvement programs
    implementation to reduce the cost to serve.
  • Development and implementation of 3 Years Logistics and Customer Service Strategic Plans.
